Because Odoo Freelancers holds payments in escrow until delivery is confirmed, most disputes are resolved before funds are released.
1. Escrow Protection
Your payment is held securely by the platform and released to the freelancer only after you confirm the work has been delivered as agreed.
2. Eligible Refunds
- Work not started and order cancelled by mutual agreement.
- Freelancer fails to deliver within the agreed timeline.
- Delivered work materially differs from the agreed scope.
3. How to Request
Open a dispute from your order before confirming delivery, or raise a support ticket. Our team will review the chat history, agreed scope and deliverables.
4. Non-Refundable
Completed and accepted work, or services where the client confirmed delivery, are generally non-refundable.
5. Processing Time
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your provider.
